Member Screening – Visitation (Heimsuchung)

We invite you and a guest to our MIFF Member screening of Visitation (Heimsuchung) on Thursday 15 October at Lido Cinemas – thanks to our friends at Moving Story Entertainment.

This century-spanning epic from master filmmaker and Palme d'Or-winner Volker Schlöndorff ( The Tin Drum) observes three families that inhabit a lake house near Berlin, and the earth-shattering events that shape the world around them. The film premiered in the Cannes Première section at the 79th Cannes Film Festival in May 2026.

Join us for the Australian premiere before it plays at the Jewish International Film Festival, running from Sunday 18 October to Wednesday 25 November.

• Bookings: Bookings for this screening will open at 6pm on Wednesday 30 September. If tickets are booked out, please join the waitlist on the booking page.
• Seating: There are no allocated seats for MIFF Member screenings – it’s first-come, first-served. Please arrive on time to select your desired seats.
